Reputed to have begun her teaching career at the age of six, Trainercjk, as she is so appropriately titled via e-mail, graduated and taught in the Anniston, Al Chapter I program from 1989 through 1993. Later, she directed continuing education programs for Columbus State University while concurrently handling all information technology matters for her large department. Clarissa went on to work as Director of Training for a regional company and then began combining her teaching experience with curriculum development, business analysis and project management. While working with companies having diverse clients like Microsoft, Citibank, PNC Bank, Perot Systems, Synovus Trust, First Data Corporation, Abercrombie & Fitch and Symantec, she successfully instructed in new technology and managed projects promulgating these emerging technologies worldwide. She also authored and co-authored training manuals that were used nationally for these new technologies.

Clarissa served as Director of Boston University’s TrainingTrack Project Management Programs for three years. She is the current owner and CEO of Projections Consulting, Inc., headquartered in Williamsburg, Virginia. Clarissa has been and remains a catalyst for new project management, business analysis and education initiatives. Clarissa holds many technology and business certifications. She is certified as a project management professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute (PMI) and is also a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) amongst others. She has spoken to many PMI chapters across the country and around the world and has personally interviewed and evaluated hundreds of experienced instructor candidates vying for placement in Boston University’s vanguard project management program. Her project management and business analysis collaborations also include work with project managers, instructors, PMI chapters, and businesses in Singapore, Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica, China, Japan, Hawaii, and Canada.

This polished professional enjoys speaking to audiences on a variety of topics from project management to self-actualization. She has spoken in Toronto, Canada, at Project World, a national project management conference. She has also spoken at the American Society for Quality (ASQ) chapter in Virginia Beach, VA and the International Institute of Business Analysts (IIBA) in Nashville, TN. She has also developed and conducted training through the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) for new business owners in the state of Virginia. If it involves project management, business anlaysis and/or education at any level, her finger is on the pulse, absolutely and unequivocally!
