Steve Truitt brings nearly 30 years of experience in transforming enterprises through the strategic use of Information Technology to MicroTech. He has worked as both an executive building technology services businesses with P&L responsibility and as an IT consultant for leading global consultancies like Booz Allen Hamilton and Price Waterhouse. Steve has broad General Management experience and deep expertise in all aspects of the System Implementation Life Cycle – from IT strategy through Process Design, Architecture, Software Development and Implementation.

Steve's career highlights feature significant leadership roles, such as President of Origin Technology in Business (OTIB), the North American operating arm of Origin B.V., a $2 billion European-based IT consultancy (now ATOS-Origin). At BSG/Alliance IT, a leading client server integrator, Steve was a Managing Director, directing 200 consultants. He was the Systems Development Director for Telaction, a first-of-its-kind interactive home shopping system developed by J.C. Penney. Telaction was a precursor to the Internet and e-Commerce. Steve also co-founded e2i, an international systems integration and Internet services consultancy.

As COO, Steve is responsible for the company's day-to-day operating activities, including revenue and sales growth; expense, cost and margin control; and monthly, quarterly and annual financial goal management. In this role, Steve directs company operations to meet budget and other financial goals; directs short-term and long-range planning efforts to support strategic business goals established by the CEO; establish the performance goals, allocate resources, and assess policies for senior management; and coordinates and participated in M&A and other growth activities to support overall business objectives and plans.

Steve received a BA in Economics from Wake Forest University, and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
