
Tomás Esterrich leads and manages MicroTech International, a subsidiary of MicroTechnologies, LLC, to develop and deploy MicroTech products and services, such as MicroKloud®, MicroStak®, MicroBirst®, MicroPodd®, Cyber Security, Mobility, and Social Media Analytics; along with our technology integration and unified communication and collaboration services, and more than 3 million product solutions. Strategically, he will be concentrating in Latin America and Canada; but will explore business opportunities worldwide. He brings to MicroTech International 35 years of experience conducting business in Latin America that began as Foreign Area Officer in the U.S. Army with Foreign Military Sales experience, and continued with his own company, Global Integration Services, Inc., 15 years ago.
For 4 years, Tomás served as MicroTech’s Chief Financial Officer, managing the day-to-day finance and accounting operations, as well as Planning and Strategy. His financial management experience expands over 45 years, including an exceptional 20-year career as a highly-decorated military officer in the U.S. Army Finance Corps.
Tomás served in a variety of military roles all over the world including as the Deputy Commander and Comptroller for the Red River Army Depot, administering an annual operating budget of over $260 million and supervising over 6,000 personnel. Most recently, he was a Senior Consultant at Toffler Associates, developing business and management strategies in Homeland Security and Defense issues for the government and private sector.
In his 23-year private sector career, Tomás also held key financial management roles at Bromon Aircraft Corp., Chase Manhattan Bank, Luis Acosta, Inc., Nestle Puerto Rico, and as President and CEO with his own company – T.E. Systems, Inc., a SBA 8(a) certified and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. He also has diverse entrepreneurial experience in sales, business development, resources, projects, programs, logistics, procurement, contracting, facilities, human capital, organizational, functional and strategic planning consulting in private, not-for-profit and federal government organizations.
In 2009, Tomás was recognized as LISTA "CFO of the Year" Award for his commitment to the Latino community and support of youth programs in Washington. In 2010, he was recognized as "CFO of the Year" by the Washington Business Journal. In 2011, he was named a finalist for the Northern Virginia Technology Council "CFO of the Year," and a finalist for Virginia Business Magazine "CFO of the Year." He is also the winner of the SmartCEO Magazine 2012 “CFO of the Year.” Tomás has Senior Military Schooling and Technical Training in Finance, Accounting, and in Foreign Areas (Spain, Latin America) with the U.S. Army, and holds a BBA in Business Administration from the University of Puerto Rico, and a MS in Systems Management from the University of Southern California.
