Vienna, VA, January 23, 2008 — MicroTech was named as a leading Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned and Minority-Owned company by Fairfax County and the Commonwealth of Virginia today at the 2008 Celebration of Northern Virginia Business Success. The event honored 60 Northern Virginia companies, 44 of which are based in Fairfax County.
The high profile event, held at the Hilton McLean Tyson’s Corner, featured Northern Virginia's three members of Congress -- Frank R. Wolf (10th District), James P. Moran (8th District) and Tom Davis (11th District) as well as Gerald E. Connolly, chairman of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors. Many other elected and economic development officials from around Northern Virginia also attended.
MicroTech President and CEO Anthony Jimenez noted that, “we are honored to be among such illustrious firms receiving this recognition. Fairfax County is home base to our corporate headquarters and we have grown and prospered in Fairfax County and Northern Virginia.
