Vienna, VA, July 7, 2008 - Today MicroTechnologies, LLC (D.B.A. MicroTech), an Information Technology (IT) and Network Support Services business and Carolina Management and Technology Solutions (CMT) another Information Technology (IT) and Network Support Services business announced a merger. The merged entity will retain the name MicroTech and manage operations from MicroTech’s Vienna Headquarters. MicroTech and CMT clients can expect to see an even higher level of service based on MicroTech’s new abilities and staff.
This merger brings together two outstanding Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. MicroTech and CMT are both prime contractors on the Veterans Technology Solutions (VETS) Government Wide Acquisition Contact (GWAC) in different functional areas. As a result of this merger, the new and improved MicroTech will be a prime contractor on both Functional areas of the VETS GWAC. There will be no change in MicroTech ownership and MicroTech will remain a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned and 8(a) Small Business.
